New to Forum

Hello all. I'm new to the forum but not Jeep. I've had my 01 Wrangler Sport for almost 11 years now. Even managed to keep it out of the flood waters of Hurricane Katrina while living just a few blocks from the broken flood wall in New Orleans/2005.

What I'm looking for is any advice on a roof rack for a 2001 Wrangler TJ. In particular a Kargo Master Congo Cage to carry a kayak. I'm wondering if the center post for the soft top will interfere with the kayak riding on both the forward and back cross bars of the roof rack. Any advice is welcomed.

I've researched most others SmittyBilt etc. and will go with the Kargo Master if you guys think it will work for me.

Thanks in advance, Mike

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!
