Hello lady and fellow Jeeper's great site and look forward to learning much as I can and contributing where I can as I took delivery of a 2014 JKUS last Sunday, 20 Oct.
Planning a 2.5" AEV lift and a little larger tire in due time, first things first. Had to have my paint protected...new vehicle paints now days is pretty thin...this stuff works great. I have this on my wifes Honda Accord..the paint is still perfect after 200k...we keep vehicles. I use Plexus to keep the material shinning on.
My first mod was having Sunrek paint protection installed yesterday. You cannot really see this material on the BILLET SILVER unless you really look close it's seamless..the install went perfect...I had the entire hood, front and rear fender flares, grill, windshield pillar sides, top and bottom of w/s frame small front bumper painted area. Not for everyone, but I have this on my two other cars and it's awesome. No chips, dings, scrapes or errors..worth the $$$ INMHO. Note; you really want to have this installed on new paint as it will highlight any existing chips/dings if you wait. For what's its worth...
All work done and warrantied by-SunStoppers in Concord, NC just a few miles north of Lowes Motor Speedway.
Installer removed all hood hardware prior to installing material...awesome installer...all about doing it right the first time...oh and he is not peeing, just reviewing a pattern before install..lol!
Adding material to fender flares...the material is crystal clear...
Covering the entire front grill and painted bumper area...
Here is a pretty decent video about Suntek paint protection-
