First, I would like to say that I'm another member of a different forum and by far, I can already tell that this one is far superior. From the layout, to the ease of use, to the evertything else... Love this one so far.
Anyway, I just bought my Black, 2012, JK Sport last November. Boy do I wish I got a wrangler years ago. I have yet to be disappointed. I can't wait to really start getting into the mods. I did the typical interior accessories which were mostly gifts from friends and family. Yesteray, I just installed a "small" upgrade to the wheels and tires. I opted to buy the basic sport model as opposed to the Saharra or Rubi because I want to really "build" my JK, not "buy" it, if you know what I mean.
Someone I knew was selling 4 slightly used and 1 brand new spare off of their Saharra, 245/75R/16's for $275. I jumpped all over the deal. I figured that if I'm getting a set like that and for that price, and I have my original 225/75R/16's with less than 10,000 miles on mine, I couldn't go wrong. Really what is was is that I couldn't stand seeing the same OEM rims on mine, that a Jeep Liberty would have. The new "used" set are still simple, but I'm moving in the right direction of making it my own.
As you can see, I added the lights to the hood and that's about it. The wheels you see are no more...
Anyone have suggestions as to what else I should do? I want some rock rails next. I'm really only going to wheel in mud/snow, no real rock crawling anytime soon.
I look forward to hearing some great suggestions.
