Cool New to forums

Hi, I've had my jeep for 2 years and can't stand the flapping half doors. Does anyone know how to stop the windows from flapping while unzipped? Thanks

Welcome from 1 Floridian to another, what area are you in? Second the answer to your question is unzip your window from the front corner to the upper rear corner. On my YJ I then fold it like you do a napkin (triangular) and tuck it behind the lower bar of the window hardware. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOUR WINDOWS ARE OLD AND BRITTLE.

Welcome!

JCW also sells a elastic cord for the half door windows that keeps them from flappin.

I just run without doors and windows as much as possible. I am lusting after a set of sliding upper halfs for the winter...but the cost is making me wait! Wellcome to WF!

Welcome to WF! The only way that I found to not have the uppers flapping in the wind when I had them was to fold them completely down inside the Jeep...

Welcome.

I've never had the problem while unzipped, only while zipped up. My solution is to run without doors as long as possible.
