New to forums and Jeeps

I took 24 years but I just bought my first jeep, a black 2006 stock. I'm loving it so far.

I do have one question. There is a small little metal on/off switch to the left of the steering column that the manual does not mention and the salesman did not know what is was for.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I'm a male, so the urge to flip it will get too great soon. Any ideas?

Welcome Aboard! No clue what the switch is for. Likely the previous owner installed it. Does your jeep have extra lights?

Ah! It doesn't have extra lights but it looks like it did. There are wire leads going to nothing down at the ends of the front bumper and the screw holes there look like they have been used. He probably moved the fog lights to his new Jeep. Well at least I don't have to run wiring if I get some in the future.
