Talking New to Jeep

Hello my name is Dan and I confess I have never touched a Jeep in my life, this is a first.

My dad recently bought an 89 Jeep Wrangler YJ. He was going to work on it, he bought it a new front bumper, and some accessories. Then bought a 66 Impala so he kind of forgot about the jeep.

I drive an Envoy, but I've been thinking about working on the jeep to keep it for myself. I like the jeep style, don't really like the lime green but w.e.

I am hoping I can get some help from this forum in order to restore it, where to start, and what to do.

Welcome

Welcome to the forum! This is definitely the place to find answers about working on your Jeep! As for the color...I thinks it looks good!

@ mpjdrizzt : Thanks =], hoping I can get some good info.
The guy who had the jeep before we did, I think painted the car himself. There's lime green on plastics and other parts of the vehicle where there isn't suppose to be.

I am guessing I am going to have to spray paint the plastics black again...
