New to the board.

New to the board.

Wife had a 88 YJ when we met.
First child came and we got a 91 Cherokee.
Second child came and we got a Chevy Venture mini van.
Third and fourth children came (twins) and we got a big chevy conversion van.

Twins are three now and she wants a YJ for a daily driver (we will park the big van until needed).

We are going to be taking a 1993 YJ I6 to our friends shop today to have it looked over.

Thought I would say hi to you guys!

Thanks. She is a keeper. She deserves it. Mother of four.

It is not like we can afford it or anything, but I figure we can pay for it with the gas $ we save from not driving the big van with the 5.7L 350 V8!

Her last YJ I tricked out with a bunch of chrome stuff, some rims and some other stuff.

Our neighbors own a jeep customizing place, so I am hoping we can get some big wheels on it. It has the little stockers on it now.

Well, I love my 92 I6; and I bet she loves hers.

Welcome to the Forum, both of you.

Thanks all!

Well we did the deed.

I will get some pics ASAP. Midnight blue. Totally stock.

Buddy of mine is doing the water pump and radiator on Monday. It also needs new body bushings all the way around. Rust isn't to bad. I plan on coating the inside floor pans with POR-15 like I did my GN.

I will be searching the boards for a lift kit and wheel choices, exhaust options and K&N air filter, etc.

I know it will be 95% street and only 5% off-road, so that is what I need to consider when doing the mods...
