new to the forum
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am in central California and love the outdoors. Not new to wheeling but new to this forum. This is my first Jeep and I love it. I looked for over a year for just the right one. Wanted an 05 or 06 Rubicon. The 05 because that was the first year of the 6sp xmsn and the 06 because that was the last year of the 4.0. Used the Rubi's are not much more than the regular jeeps, but u get sooooo much more with that package. Before the Jeep I had an 85 Toy and an 04 mustang that I sold to get the Jeep. Best decision I ever made. Although one draw back has been the space limitation. That is the trailer that u c in my profile. Bought a 4x7 rail trl from TSC for $500.00. Flipped the axel and got out the chop saw. Took it all the way down to the frame. Local iron and steel place @$250.00. The top opens up and becomes a table. I have had it into the back campground by chicken rock on the ducy ersheim trail. The jeep will pull it up the hill (4lane) from Prather to Cressmans at 50 mph in 4th...This is a steep hwy here within 5 to 8 miles u raise over 3000 feet. I did the job for @1K the cheapest I could get it built for was $2500.00.
It's not about getting out of the Storm, but learning to dance in the rain.
When I die I am going to be buried with my Jeep, cause I haven't yet found a hole it can't get out of!!!!!
06 TJ Rubi 4.0 and alot of other crap
