Tomorrow I pick up my 2013 Wrangler Sahara and trade in my trusty 2000 Cherokee Sport (with only 59K original miles on it). I washed it up and got it ready for it's new home. Unfortunately, I need a 4x4, and my Cherokee is a 2 wheel drive (I know....it was originally from Florida).
My Jeep experience goes a long way back, from my father owning an AMC/Jeep dealership when I was just a kid, to driving an early Grand Cherokee through the bakery of a local grocery store (I was 4, my brother 5, and my mother left us in a running vehicle, so we decided to play. I was on the pedals, he was on the steering wheel).
I bought an '85 Grand Cherokee about 8 years ago, restored it and gave it to my nephew as a graduation gift. He sold it three months later and bought a Ford pick-up. I still question whether or not we're actually related.
So, now I'm venturing into a whole new era of Jeep. I'm looking forward to reading your comments and learning from all of you. If any of you are in the Alberta mountains, maybe we'll come across one another. Say hi!
