Smile New to the forums.

Hi. I am looking to buy an 08 Wrangler Sahara either in Rescue Green or Rock Red, with the power convienance package and it has to be automatic. I know you guys hate automatic wrangers but

I currently drive an 06 Ford Fusion, love the car, just have a yearn to go off road and the Fusion can not take me there.

I test drove one earlier today and I fell in love with it. I was not a fan of the hardtop though as I don't have room to store it if I want to take it off. Plus I like the fact if I want sun I can just put down the soft-top.

The only things I am waiting for to happen before I can purchase my jeep are as follows. Younger brother needs to get license so he may take the Fusion off my hands. Waiting on test results to hopefully become a paid firefighter. Taking a test early next year for a police officer as well.

So far I know two Jeep Families in my city. They own nothing but nice Jeep Wrangler Rubicons and hope to go off roading with them some day. We have no hardcore trails around here so modding my jeep will not be necessary.

I will most likely custom order the jeep I want since they are offering that Lifetime Warranty. Figure if I get that deal, it better be the way I like it!

I think I'm done with my speech.

Hey,

From one newbie to a potentially other, welcome to the forum. I just bought my Wrangler and I have discovered that it's not just buying a vehicle, it really is a way of life. I wasn't even thinking of buying a jeep when I pulled into the car lot but then I saw my Wrangler and it was love at first sight. Since then I have really enjoyed the comraderie not only on this forum but also from other jeep people you see on the road. I have had my eyes on the new unlimmiteds for a while though, just a little too pricey for me right now. I like them a lot. Hope you enjoy yours.

I found the jeep I want. It's over in Delaware. I checked back in 6 minutes later, and it's sold!

Oh well, I'm sure their will be more.

Ok, so I got a quote from a local dealership for the Jeep I built on the net.

He is offering me $100 over Invoice price for the Jeep. Which I figure is a fair deal? Maybe, maybe not?

Invoice is what the dealer paid for the car. So by him selling it to me for $100 over invoice, he will probably make $75 - $95 off this deal.

MSRP of the Jeep I wanted is $26,185.
Invoice is $24,617.
He is offering $24,717.

Please feel free to comment and/or help me. As this will be the first brand new car I would by myself from a dealership.

Price doesn't sound bad, but it's hard to tell without knowing what kind of vehicle you "built". Is it an 07 or 08?

Hope it works out for you.
