New to the Jeep scene Houston, TX

Hey everybody! My name is Kevin, I'm from Houston. Just picked up an 07 Unlimited X. Only problem is it's 2 wheel drive :-( Now that I'm a member of the forum, I REALLY wish I had found a 4x4. Was really surprised when I realized they weren't all 4x4 anymore. But, got a really good deal on the 2 wheel drive taking over payments... Does anybody do lifts and tires etc. to these specific 2 wheel drive models, or is it a big waste? Thank you all in advance! Seems like a GREAT forum

welcome fellow Texan. Hope you have better selection for OHV trails down there than we do up here by Fort Worth.

Welcome Kevin I don't know why you couldn't lift a 2x4, for looks. It's not gonna do much for you otherwise, but if you like the looks, then go for it. 80% of the time most of the rest of us are in 2WD anyway, unless it's a dedicated trail rig....
