new to the jeep world

Let me just say today was my families first trip out in a jeep and we had a rough but fun day braking our drivers side hub in a very interesting spot of cleghorn. Thankfully the group behind us knew what they were doing. I feel rude and must apologize for not getting there names. JKROCK on his license plate gave me a push up to one area then the road got even worse (didn't look bad at first famous last words) then the people behind him loaned us a tow strap and he gave us a tow to the top. Thank you very much cause we would've had a hell of a time trying to back all the way down. Was a fun day and now have a list of stuff to spend money on so we aren't sitting there waiting for hand outs. Thank you again for all the help today.

Welcome to the forums! It's good to hear stories of people helping others out. I'm fairly new to Jeeps myself, but I've been driving 4x4s for a long time and I can't count the number of times I've towed people out of bad situations. Don't feel bad about not getting a name. Most people I've towed never asked mine, I could see in their face they were so caught up in the moment, going from "how do I get out of this" to "I can't believe someone stopped to help" that they just forgot. I never did it for any recognition anyway. The satisfaction of just helping someone in need is all the reward I ever need.
