New to WF - '01 TJ

Hey Guys,
Iím Dino. The Air Force just moved me out to Travis AFB, CA, so I took advantage of the location and bought an '01 TJ back in December (my first JeepóI had a lifted Yota a few years ago). I was somewhat familiar with Jeeps before I bought this one--my buddy had a í97 TJ and I used to help him fix/upgrade his rig. Since buying my TJ, I Herculined the interior, added some Bestop seat covers, a hood lock, a hood scoop over the cowl, and a new battery. My next project is to fix the CEL (p0455 code Ė evap leak). I replaced the gas cap and followed the fuel lines, but I couldnít find leak so Iím eventually going to take it to a garage that has a smoker. Iím betting the fuel line is loose near the gas tank, but dropping the tank is beyond my maintenance skills. I havenít had a chance to offroad the TJ yet, but Iím hoping to take it out on a trail this summer. Thanks to everyone that posts on the forum. Iíve learned a lot!

Dino

Welcome to the forum!!! Thank you for your service. Travis is a great place. You can reach out and travel a little and do some great wheeling. Check out the Rubicon would be a great trip for the early summer or late fall.
