New to WF - Ian

Good Morning, and Merry Christmas.

My name is Ian, and like many of you- I think about that "Next step" every few minutes-

I started off with an '02 TJ Sport- Rubicon Express 2'' BB with Pro Comp 33s. Believe it or not, that Dana 35 lasted forever, until electrical problems caused the Jeep to become unreliable. I can blame the ARB Snorkel for making fording irresistible.

Then, I brief hiatus, to a 2011 Z71 Silverado- Funny thing was you couldn't take the roof and doors off- and generally was disappointed with it.

Being unable to sleep at night not having a Wrangler in the driveway, I made a solid deal with Upper Valley Dodge in Pembroke Ontario.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Flame Red. Loaded without Leather and Navigation.

I was skeptical during my test drive, "Real Jeeps have 2 doors!" Wow was I ever pleased with the road manners and utility space with the Unlimited, and with the shocks found on the Sahara- But hey, that only lasted a few thousand kilometers.

Now, on 35'' Nitto Trail Grapplers, 18'' KMC Addicts, Teraflex Leveling Kit, Synergy Inner C's, Teraflex HD Carrier, Banks Cold Air Intake and Trek Armor Coyote/Coyote Covers-

No rubbing from lock to lock. Very close to the pinch seem as the Nittos measure a true 35.1''.

I removed the front air dam as it was in the way, and took out the hood spring- I have way too much flutter. I'm a huge fan of peace of mind, Drake Turnbuckle latches are on their way.

I've placed an order from 4 Wheel Parts Canada, and 4WD in Ohio, and can't wait on my belated Christmas presents to myself.

Edit: You can see the Salty winters in Northern Canada eats up the paint and makes a great mess. I have a winter car now- Tried to get my hands on a YJ for winter- most of them are too far gone for the Provincial safety standards. A secondary car allows downtime for the Jeep, and a now, salt-free life.

Much more to come,
Thanks for the space.
