I've owned almost every type of vehicle in my life, I keep play toys but I have NEVER owned a Wrangler! I currently have a 7" lifted F250, a 6" lifted Bronco, couple of lifted ATVs, motorcycles ect BUT my wife finally convinced me to get a Wrangler lol. So now I have a 97 4cyl/auto 4x4 with 65000 miles! Got it from a land owner guy that never drove it, never mudded it, just kept it parked in a shead. It needs some major TLC and several things don't work from sitting up but I'll get it sorted pretty quickly. My plan with the TJ is to go with some nice 15x10s and some 31's, 4" or 5" lift, nice bumpers, rhino line the whole interior, and new paint (maybe the 09 limeish green).
So my first order of business is say hi and check in
Second order of business is pick some brains!
My hood and front metal fenders are bent up, going to get a hood no sweat but I don't want to go back with the metal fenders I'm just going to beat them up again, do they make fenders that are straight down (follow the hood line) for bolting on newer style full plastic JK finders? I've looked at tube fenders, not my style really but I like the idea of having a full plastic fender and I like how they would look with them off, kind of like a open wheel buggy then. If no company makes them guess I'll be fabing some up!!
Anyway thanks guys and look forward to moding it up!!
