new yj owner

hey guys. im new to this forum and ive owned my yj for about a month now. installed a 4" lift tires and rims on it so far and in about a 2 months im adding an soa lift to what i have now. and of course upgrade everything else to make it perfect. like a 8.8 rear and lock the rear and front. upgrade drive shafts, put an sye. and probably junk the 4 banger and swap a new zo6 corvette motor. how do u think this set up will do

Welcome to the board. We have a lot of nicely built YJ's on this board to help you out.

I'd say that setup is going to be pretty darn tall if you do a SOA with 4" lift springs. And make sure you build/buy a good ladder bar for it with that much HP running thru the motor, axle wrap could be a real problem.

However I bet it will be pretty kick ass.

Welcome aboard, and glad you found this site. As 1BLKJP mentioned, doing a SOA with a 4" lift is going to put you way up there. Most people that do that, do it with the normal springs. I don't think you want more than about a 2.5" lift. Going over the axle will add another 3-4 inches. You can do what ever you like, but I would think you would be dangerously high that way. A curb could flip you over.
