Talking New YJ Owner In North East Florida

I recently purchased a 1991 Jeep YJ ,2.5L 5 speed or should I say 4 speed(MIA 5th gear). And I am absolutely in love .The fellow I purchased it from had parked it for the last 5 years so it only has 101K miles on it .He told me your either a jeep guy or not and that he defenitly wasnt ,the day I bought it I had to drive it 2 hours in pouring rain with no doors and I couldnt stop smiling . The only rust on it is on the windshield frame ,and I paid $2400 which I think is a steal after now learning the nirvana of owning a Jeep and keeping it on the road .The only modification he had made to it was a 3 inch body lift .I have plans of doing a SOA on it after I buy a second vehicle .And about a million other things slowly.I look foward to learning from all the very knowledgeable people on here .And if there are any other Jeep owners in the Jacksonville area ,who ever want to go trail riding or know of any spots please dont forget me !

Not a whole lot of places to ride here in Jacksonville...sad to say. If you need help with your heep I'll try to help you with the little bit I've learned.

Welcome, Ive owned a jeep steady since 1980 and I'll never forget how that first ride felt.
