Hi everybody ive been into forums for my muscle cars and since im picking up my first jeep saturday I figured I would say hello on here too. Its a 95 Wrangler in a midnight blue color with a tan interior. 5 speed with a 6 cyl and 141k. I need to replace the rear shock towers on the jeep and some minor things on the body but I am excited. It drives great I just cant wait to lift it. Im sure there are a million questions about lifts and tires sizes but it looks like I can fit 33's underneath with this kit 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 2.5", Suspension Lift Kit at Morris 4x4
The interior is real clean. I cant wait to get it all mechanically sound and then work on my lift. Hitting the beaches hard this summer
does anyone have any photos of a yj with metalcloak fenders? and a 4 inch lift kit and 35's? I have to replace the rear shock towers I ordered them but I dont know if i have to remove the fuel tank or anything like that. Some help would be great or any kind of direction. Sorry for newb questions but i guess everyone has them at some point in time.
Got a lot of work done on the jeep yesterday. Turns out the frame and all supports on the back were worse than I thought. I'm just really glad I found it now while everything is out. And accessible. Hopefully the pics worked with this app for my iPhone. Also. Does anyone have a gas tank skid plate for this thing? 200+ is a little steep.
Scored a set of MINT body color fenders today on Craigslist. 100 bucks for the set delivered. Today I treated the frame with rust converter. Now all I need to do is an oil change. Replace fluid in the differentials. And take care of 3 rust bubbles on the body.
Picked up a skid plate for the gas tank locally for 20 bucks! Found a set of 33's at Carlisle at a STEAL and mounted them on my black rims. Also found a shackle kit at a swap meet for 10 bucks to raise the rear and solve rubbing issues.
