NewB 2014 JKUR

Picked up my 2014 Anvil Unlimited Rubicon yesterday. Man o man am I fired up! I've been looking for the right one...and finally found it. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted so I couldn't just order one. I had gone through all of the options and trim levels. I knew for sure I wanted Anvil though. Then, I found the one Body color hardtop, 4.10, auto, tow, 730n, BFG Muds. So, now what?? Hahaha. I know I would have more to do if I went sport or Sahara but I'm here now. I need a soft top for sure and need to rig a system in my garage to take the top off. Any recommendations for either?
Looking forward to reading the numerous threads and years of experience within the forum.

Congrats on the Jeep, love my JKU Rubi. There's gotta be a few soft top threads around, I went with the dual tops, but I'd go with Bestop based on their other products I've picked up.

Here's a thread on hard top hoists Hardtop Hoist

Here's a few mods I recommend early on:

1) Flip the rear view mirror over
2) Grill inserts; aluminum vs. plastic?
3) Deep rubber floormats, good for rain, mud & snow if you ever get any in Austin
4) Pick up a tow strap (NO METAL HOOKS), and make sure you can hook it up, may need a shackle or two.

Just take your time with it, have fun & get ready for this thing to suck your wallet dry.
