Newb from SoCal

I recently bought a 98 TJ Sahara and so far I'm loving it!

I've got a couple friends here in town that are into the jeep thing and I finally followed suit. I'm not new to off roading, I've been a desert rat for many years, but always on 2 wheels.

I bought the Jeep to be my DD ~35 miles each way to work. It made sence to put my wife in my 2007 Chevy 2500, it's big, safe, reliable... Her car was on the edge of a nervous breakdown and had to go and after dumping $500 into the truck just for fluid changes I said screw it. I'm getting a beater and she's rolling the rig.

Anyhow, I got a pretty good deal on my jeep, It has a 2.5" lift and an Ox locker in the rear. 33" tires (that are E rated... this made me laugh)

I've recently added front and rear bumpers and a CB.
Wife and I went wheeling for Valentines day and had a blast! I've got a lot to learn but plan to have a good time in Jeep School.

Pic of my jeep and one of my truck attached.
