Newb in Wa (the wet side)

New to the Jeep scene, looking for one now. I live near (really near) Ft Lewis and the Stryker trail are hella fun in a military Hummer. Can't wait to take a Jeep out there!

I am originally from Fayetteville, lived in Chapel Hill 20 yrs, and am now in Clayton (12 mi SE of Raleigh). Worked at UNC Hospitals during early 90's. We had a week of 98 to 100 degrees a couple of weeks ago. So yeah I reckon you can say it gets hot here

Welcome!

Welcome to the definitive Wrangler forum! Have friends currently stationed at Fort Bragg. Like my son, who's in the NC Army NG in Wilmington, they're all combat medics. Son's getting ready to return to the sandbox for a second view of the Middle East. Again, welcome to the madness of the Jeep life.
By the way, Tarheel, was down your way a couple of weeks ago visiting my sons in Wilmington. Saw the sign for Clayton.

Tarheel: Plan to head back down around first of November when my son heads out for his deployment. I'll let you know when we're coming and hopefully catch up with you then. Thanks!
