Thumbs up Newb is SPEECHLESS and still in SHOCK!

I'm sitting here typing this and STILL can't believe my wife said Ok to a brand new Wrangler! Been married over (30) years and never expect this!

Traded in a 12 Mustang for it. She HATED that car and me for buying it in the first place!

Anyways, we picked up a real sweet Sport model with some extras....17s, AC, hardtop.

I hope I'm not dreaming this!

I'm way far from a newb to car/truck/computer forums. Probably a member of over 40 of them. Only frequent a few. I've been on them since the 90s. Owned and Moderated several along the way as well.

Can't wait to start modding my new Jeep!

Congrats. I've owned a Mustang as well and, while they have a certain appeal, they're far from practical and much prefer my Jeep.

I'm assuming you mean a mustang, GT or better and no rental car v6 mustang. Congrats and welcome. Hell of a jump though. I couldn't drive my Jk everyday, power is way more up my list as a driver.

The new V6 mustang's numbers ain't too shabby. Compare to the old 5.0 V8 from the late 80s.

Thanks for all the welcomes!

And yes, it was the puny, weak V6.

Seriously though.... the new 3.7s are serious monsters. 305HP from the factory. There's guys running 12.7s NA with them. No joke! Mine "shouldve" (never had it to the track) run mid/high 13s with the mods it had.

Here's it was.....
