Newbe - we want a jeep

My wife and I would like to get a jeep for both of us. She has a 2005 van that is a kid car and I have a 95 Bronco and 2000 Ranger. I drive less than 1 mile to work, she drives 60 a day. Any suggestions?

Sell the van and buy a Wrangler Unlimited. Not much difference in gas mileage between a 2 door and 4 door and you will have room for the kids plus groceries. Welcome to the forum!

do you have kids?
What is your price range?
It all really depends on what you want and are looking for. Welcome to WF!

Keep the van and sell the bronco. I commute 8 miles a day round trip and I love my jeep. Get a TJ. They are plentiful and essentially bulletproof. The one I bought had 80K miles and only cost me 7,000. It has been great so far and will soon be getting a lift and more aggressive tires. The TJ (in my opinion) is a better riding vehicle because it has independent coil spring suspension at each corner versus the leaf springs in the YJ and CJ. I'd keep the truck because you always need one at some time. Oh yeah, get a soft top.
