Welcome to the Forum!!!

More and more everyday moving over to the darkside... I personally never thought I'd be a "Jeep guy". Never thought I'd ever be able to afford one. Especially growing up poor in a rich community. All the kids had bad a$$ trucks, allthough my '78 regal w/a Trans Am engine would run circles around 'em, I still envied them.

We got our first 4x4 about 8 years ago, its a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT w/a few inch lift and 33's. V6, NOT the extended cab and NOT the edge. Just a shortbox, Black 4x4 ranger. We love it, but its my wifes

Picked up the Jeep on trade from my dad, he uses our garage at the cabin by their place and wanted to trade me the jeep towards helping to pay for the garage. He has a black XJ and my mom has a Cherokee with a V8, no need for an extra Wrangler. Hell yeah, I traded 'em in a heart beat. He says "how long does that cover rent" I replied "forever... don't worry about it dad, the garage is yours".

I have since been bitten by the Jeep bug. I love it, I never want to leave it, I want to drive it all over the country to places I can't get to with a car! I think it about it all the time and the family loves riding in the jeep so its all good

I'll stop rambling! Don't know why I told ya all that, just felt like the right things to say for some reason. Some new guys just get a "whats up", but Im in a good jeep mood today as its really sunny out and I can't wait to get out of work!!! My after work plan is to try and fabricate some sort of oil pan protection before I go out wheelin' saturday...

Added a pic to my avatar. I just got this jeep, and I am trying to get rid of that hood rack. The person who owned it before me had it custom made. I am not new to jeeps, just took a break from them for 2 years. This will make my 3rd wrangler over the last 7 years.

thats a fine lookin jeep there! I like the black on black... Someone may pick up the hood rack from ya, maybe list something in the "jeep builders" part of the forum. Its rare, never seen one like it and its a hell of a good idea for a rescue jeep.
