Newbie Colorado

Hi everyone,

I'm glad I found this forum because I need help!

I live in Colorado and am a complete outdoors enthusiast. I am a rock climber, hiker, etc. I just purchased a 2009 Jeep Rubicon because 1.) I've always loved jeeps and 2.) there are a number of places that I wanted to climb, but I was unable to get to them (with my previous vehicle).

Because I'm technically not an off road person, I've spent the last few days surfing around trying learn what a sway bar is, how to use, what axle lock is, how to use IT, etc. I'm trying to get up to speed on all the really cool things my new jeep can do.

I guess I should probably apologize in advance for asking pretty basic questions.

What're you gonna do? At least I admit to my shortcomings!

Tea

Welcom Tea! Put a 6" lift, 35" or 37" tires on that Rubicon and there's not much you can't do.

Jdeemer,
Funny you mention it. I got it for a great price, but one of the reasons for that is that I need new tires.

Do I lose out on turning radius if I go with a larger tire?

Thanks for the Welcome, everyone!
