Smile Newbie First Time Post

Hello fellow jeepers! This is my first post here. I have been a member since 09/12 when I got my first Jeep. I have been a fan of the Jeep Wrangler since I was knee high to a billy goat. I finally got my dream Jeep last September when I traded my foreign sports car in on a used 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4door X. I have been reading various posts and found some great information and insights. I am looking forward to doing my first mods when the money is right again. Iniataly I have decided on front seat covers by Trek Armor. (Made in the USA and military minded). Next will probably be a front bumper followed by a 3" lift with maybe 35s. I have also planned my first off-road experience for tomorrow. My son and I are going to Uwharrie National Forest to try out the trails there. From what I gather its a good starting trail for a newbie with stock equipment. A couple of questions: what basic tools and must haves should I be sure to carry along? One thing I wish I had but don't have yet is a high lift jack. That is also on my short list of soon to purchase. Anyway thanks for any info.

Welcome to the forum BigMick4X4!! I would suggest anything you would need in the event to change a flat to minor repair for a tools. Cell phone is handy too!!

But I would recommend posting in the following thread where you'll get more hits for suggestions on that list!
