Newbie from Syracuse NY

Hi everyone,

Well I have been checking the site for a while. I am glad I did. I was going to order a 2013 Rubicon. I wanted the MOB or 10th anniversary. Then I could not find any Rubicon's around in upstate NY. That were six speed standard.

This one dealer tried to sell me an auto and I wanted 6 speed. Well, I been saving and driving my 1997 GEO tracker 4x4. That's was my winter rat when I had my 350Z.

I was out on disability and hitting the Jeep sites. I found a 2013 Deep Cherry
RED. All the bells both tops and 6 speeds 2 door. They wanted $38,876 and only two left on the lot and that was 12/12/2012. Well I used car finder and the same dealership pop up. They had the same price but $4560 discount! I thought it was a mistake. I called the dealer and that was the right price. I called two other dealers and asked if they could beat that price no way.

That's when I went back to work. One of my co-workers welcomes me back and she is a psychologist. The first thing she says is your truck (GEO) still has a bingie cord to hold down the hood.

That's it the next day I called and praying it was not sold and asked could they hold it. Went down on 12/17/2012 which is my 25th year clean and sober. I am a chemical dependency counselor. It was in the show room and had 8 miles on it. I took it for a test drive and I was sold. I had the family and friends 1% discount off the discount. We then went back and forth with the extended warranty package.
The manager came out and said your are killing me and I said it's Xmas. I paid it off with a check and cash and owed $943.00 which I just paid off. I would like to thank everyone that this was the best Xmas I ever had. I am in the Jeep Club!
My brothers and sisters want one. I noticed I been getting waves from other Jeep owners. That's a good thing!

If you noticed my log in name I have had since 2000. Now, I got to start saving for my 2015-16 Dodge SRT Viper RED. The 3rd fastest car in the world.

Thanks Again for the push.
Mark D.

Hi Thanks everyone,

I do need a lift kit, side rails mopar and big fog lights.
Can anyone tell me the difference between the audio 730n vs 430n sound quality?
I have the 430n but can upgrade from hi end speakers and bigger amp.

There is an electronics section where you can ask your questions. If you do decide to get high end speakers and amp, your head unit(430n) will actually be holding the speakers and amp back and would not produce like it should. You could just stick with your basic radio and when the time comes swap it with an aftermarket head unit like a Kenwood, etc.
