Newbie from the Bluegrass

Well I just bought a 97 TJ with 80,000 miles for 5 Grand. It is an automatic, but i can deal. It is bone stock right down to its original 10 year old top. So the first dollars I spend will be on replacing the top and fender flares that are nice and faded gray.

Then the plan is to keep it simple. 2 inch lift and 31x10.50s on 15x8 black steelies.

The sad part of the story is that I owned this jeep once before and had a lapse of judgement and sold it to buy a full size Bronco (rust bucket). Then I drove a freakin ricer for two years and now I am back home where I belong, under the open sky and no roof.

Welcome to the forum. Why not just save some cash and paint the fender flares?

Not that I have found. There is a creek that my buddy used to go play in but it's definitely nothing major. Just somewhere to drive around that's not blacktop!!
