Newbie guy and gal in GA

Hi all,

New to Jeep owner here. I have spent some time on other tech forums (Toyota mostly). Please be kind about that as I know there are some brand loyal folks out there. I am not one that has strong loyalty to any specific brand and have a wide variety represented in my stable. The wife just traded (to me) an 04 Durango for a 12 JKU Altitude. I found the forum and have already benefitted from the knowledge and information here. While we do love the new Jeep, we have already had to take it in for warranty repairs. We experienced a problem with the heat not working properly and had a bit of a hard time getting the dealership seeing it as that but with a return trip armed with some information from this site. We were able to talk them into checking with Chrysler and getting the heater core replaced which corrected the problem. Thanks for the help with that and I am sure for future ideas and information that I will obtain here. Hopefully I will be able to contribute some of my limited mechanical or electrical knowledge in the future. I don't know if you folks are as pic happy as other forums but if so I apologize as I don't have access to any right now. May try to load one later. So far the Jeep is unmolested except for Quadratech floor mats. We do have future plans for small lift and tires (for looks mostly and light trails around the hills here). Look forward to conversing with you guys in the future and maybe even getting a ride in with some of you sometime.
