welcome to WF!!

hope u learned the jeepw ave alradey

as for that, 1. you can pull the fuse, i foget the # but if says behind the glove comprtment, (take the little strap on the right out) if you do this it will not ding either for any warning such as leaving the lights on when u take the key out

or you can buy littel clips or you can make a switch between the buttons and the fuse

Welcome to the forum. I think it is fuse number 4. You can still use the lights by turning the dimmer switch all the way. When I turn the jeep off, the lights go on for about 2 minutes then fade.

I just undid the wire to the door button switch on my yj. Don't know if the tj's are the same or not, but it takes about 3 seconds to put it back when you put your doors back on. And you can use the dome light with the dimmer still.
