Newbie in Washington State

I know nothing about Jeeps but have ALWAYS loved them!! Just picked my 95 YJ up this week (Valentines Day). Already experienced my first Jeep wave, it was pretty cool.

Newbie Advice

Thanks for the warm welcome all!! Like I said, I just got my Jeep and basically bought it because it looked very clean inside and out and didn't die on me during the test drive.

I have never worked on a car before, and nothings causing me problems thus far, but I want to know, what's the first thing I should do to ensure that my 16 yr old 95 YJ 4.0 I6 with something callled a "Leaf Spring" suspension is in the best running condition it can be in?

I'm glad I went with an older Jeep, but afraid that I may be in over my head as it relates to trying to keep the Jeep in tip top condition without spending big $$$ to dealerships or other authorized repair centers for servicing and repairs.
