Newbie Just Landed

Hi folks, just purchased a '94 YJ that my son found. I've read several threads on flat-towing since I'll be rolling the YJ behind my 2010 Expedition en route to Hattiesburg, MS from Jacksonville, FL. A quick tow around the neighborhood and all systems appear A-OK. Transfer case in neutral, 5-speed in neutral, ignition in first notch to unlock column and a set of magnetic tail lights. I think I'm ready but if anyone has any additional tips on flat-towing behind a SUV, please let me know.

I've never towed a Jeep but it sounds to me like you've thought of everything

Welcome, check on that, I have been towing, transfer case neutral and my 5 speed In gear.. Something about not letting something turn in the gears. Search flat towing here, Don't want anything to happen. Good luck.
