Newbie newberton

Hey all! So family just got 2013 JKU. Sure it isn't some tricked out off-roading machine but we do plan on doing some mild off-roading.
Im here to see all the cool things going on; on other people's Jeeps. I also want to learn about the science behind a Jeep and what mods will affect it in which way. I find it interesting.
Also, I have a suggestion for the moderators about rules. I had a moment or two trying to figure out where rules were and I think that there should be something in the welcome message letting newbie's like me know that the rules are in the 'Stickies' page. I found it out the hard way and I just want to prevent it from happening to other newb's. Sorry if that sounded bossy but its just a suggestion thrown out there so that it saves the moderators and people like me some stress.
Now its time to read some interesting threads.

As I read through other threads, it seems that the JKU is somewhat frowned upon. And thanks!
