I recently bought a 94/4cyl for regular use/commute. I'm pretty mechanically challenged, but am looking forward to learning some of the ropes to maintaining my dear Ripley Haven't quite mastered putting my soft top back on correctly, but practice makes perfect I assume! Anyway, I love being a part of the Jeep community now, most of you guys seem pretty nice! I WANNA ROCK!
Thanks guys! Still learning the ins and outs of the forum... So much info! Not sure if I should post this here or start a new thread. My driver side upper window, the zipper is separated, would it be more practical to suck it up and buy a new one? Or maybe go to an upholstery shop...
I grew up in the Lacey/Oly area and will be headed home there from Georgia in about three weeks or so. I'm new to Jeeps as well (mine should/maybe/hopefully be arriving at the Dealer today). Guess I'll be seeing ya' on the road (hopefully the trails).
Woot woot... I have to admit I'm a little scared of hurting her, but want to try some easy-ish trails soon! You bailed for better weather, huh? Don't blame ya, I'm from SC and I'd teleport if possible. See ya around!
When life gives you lemons... be glad it wasn't herpes.
Well, I'm finishing up some time in the military, so I've been to places with extreme weather on both sides, and WA as it turns out, ain't so bad. lol I do have a soft spot in my heart for the South, having spent a few years in TX, SC, and GA...but I really do miss home. Figured I've done enough time in the Army, and would like a life change, so I'm headed home to WA for college.
