Newbie out in the corn fields of Iowa

Hello. I'm the original owner of an '05 Rubicon ("Rubi"). I haven't really made any changes to her since I bought her because she was my primary commuter vehicle. She's got over 100K on her now and I'm thinking about getting a new commuter vehicle. I don't think I ever want to get rid of Rubi as she's been the best & most fun vehicle I've ever had. I love that I can go anywhere I need to get to. With that said, she's needing some upgrading. I'd like to start modifying her to be my recreational vehicle now. When I say recreational vehicle I mostly mean weekend road trips, but nothing too extreme in off-roading. I had her off-road when I was in the Pacific NW but there's no mountains to explore here so... Oh, btw, she's an automatic.

Anyhow, I'm having an issue with the fan blower for the heater. The fan works fine on defrost, and heat is generated just fine, but the heater fan no longer blows at my feet or through the dash. I took off the dash last summer trying to see if any wires/terminals were melted but didn't see anything obvious. I've looked up several parts that "may" be a solution but thought I'd try the forum prior to purchasing.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to give.

Welcome To The Forum

I've read something on here in reference to the blend door? I'll see if I can find it and post it for you.
