Newbie who needs advice

wooop wooop! just made my wrangler forum account! ok, I recently purchased my first wrangler a few weeks ago, and its also my first 4wd. It is an automatic 2002 Wrangler X Apex (pictures below). Being automatic i assume i will just go for looks instead of performance. As of right now it has a 3" body lift i believe, and it is sitting on 33x12.50r15 General Grabber AT2 shoes. In the very near future I am wanting to put a 4" or 6" suspension lift on it along with some good 35s or possibly 37s. ok, now for alot of newb questions....whats the major difference between long arm and short arm lifts (the flex?), and if im not really offroading which is preffered, why do prices vary so much between the same length lifts, should i leave the 3" BL after the suspension is added, other than basic lift installation what all needs to be done, should i mess with my gears...? and yes i apologize for the typical newbie 20 questions. heres a few pictures of my new baby...(and btw my buddy is purposely posing like an idiot)

Since this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check here TJ Jeep Wrangler Forum - Jeep Wrangler Forum and post your questions there if you can't find the answers.

In the mean time, I just want to say . . .

Welcome to the forum!
