Newbie with questions

Hi guys. I'm a brand new owner of an 05 wrangler and wanted to introduce myself. I'm sure i will have tons of questions, but for now I just want to ask about the fog lights (oem?) According to the manual to turn them on i have to pull out the knob on the headlight arm, but it doesn't seem to pull out... even with the headlights or parking lights on... any suggestions ? Like i said ... am new and will probably have a number of off-roading questions along the line. Thanks

turn the headlights on, and then the very end of the stalk will pull out...turning on the fog lamps..that is if you have OEM foglamps

Like Vector said, you first have to rotate fwd to the parking light or all the way for head lights. Only then will the fog lights turn on. You just pull the very tip of the stalk toward the driver door, it's the same tip portion that rotates to turn on the other lights.

Another thing, and I may be wrong on this (I'm not where I can test it right now), but I believe that the fog lights will not turn on if the high beams are on.

No they wont. You need to bypass that on the fuse to make it work. Its fuse #35.

I knew they had an auto shut-off when Hi-beams were on but didn't know you could by-pass. So what do you do with the #35 fuse? Just pull it?

Pull the fuse out and you see how I bent the one tab over? Do that and the fog lights will stay on with the highs. You have to put the fuse back in though, dont leave it out.
