Smile Newby from Georgia

Hello everyone! I'm Andy and my wife is Kim. We just purchased a 2004 Rocky Mountain Edition Jeep Wrangler with what appears to be a 2 inch body lift with 33x12.5x15 inch tires/wheels. We are new and we know little about jeep parts, what are applicable and what TO do in most cases.. Lol. We have established ourself with a new group here called BCH Offroad based out of Carroltton, Ga. so if you're in that area, check us out!

We have many questions, 2 kids and we look forward to some rockin good times in our jeep. I was able to take it out yesterday, Sunday the 14th to see what it would do and I now have a better idea of what mods to possibly look into. I learned a lot yesterday in terms of where to drive, how to drive and the lines to take when climbing hills and rocks. It was a HUGE help and even though I was nervous and scared, I had a blast seeing my jeep do the things it did; I was VERY impressed (to be honest, I felt like a "big boy!" Lol just sayin..)

Thank you for all your advice no matter how dumb our question may seem, please just be patient with us; we are learning and want to learn. I've already posted two threads today with some questions and I'm excited to learn more about my TJ Jeep Wrangler.. Have a wonderful day and week!

It's better to regret something you did do, than to regret something you didn't do.

I have ridden with some of the BCH folks, good people. Also check out the Georgia section of this Forum. A lot of rides and events get posted there.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
