Newfrom WV w/ a ???

Hey everyone! I am new here and finally got my Jeep that I have been wanting for the past 16 years. When I was 15 I got my first Jeep (CJ 7) and never got it past the end of my driveway....fixer upper! Needless to say I didn't have the automotive skills to do the work that was needed.

I have a 2011 Unlimited Sport, basically all stock since I want to replace most everything. I am trying to find out what the biggest tires are that I can put on it with out any types of lifts. Does anyone know?

Right now I have 225/75R16 on it...the small stock tires...LOL w/ the bottom end base wheels also!

You could put some stock Sahara rims/tires on it, if you can find a set of cheap take-offs. As for tire size, you're gonna be sorely limited as long as you keep the stock rims, as well. 16's, IIRC?

Anyway, with proper rims and backspacing you can run 33's without a lift, though they may rub your fenders if you wheel it without at least a leveling kit (corrects rake) or a small BB...My advice, since it sounds like you're gonna change a lot on it, is to live with the Lifesavers tires and rims till you know what size lift/tires/rims you wanna run, then do all that at once. That way, you're getting the most crucial stuff done once, and done right.

Post your question in the JK Jeep Section and you'll get a lot more advice. And more thorough. This section's just for peeps to say hi to newcomers.

So welcome!
