Question NewJeepGal

Hi All!!!! I am a newbie and wanted to stop here and say hello!! I bought a 95 Wrangler Sahara 2 years ago and took it offroading yesterday for the first time!!! YooHOOOOOO, what a thrill!!! However, I am now leaking from the gearbox..(I hope that is what it is) So I am going to throw this out there to see what help you can give me......
Do I rebuild my gearbox or do I put in a new one? I am sure that there are other things I should redo while I am in doing this....any suggestions?
My baby is an automatic, straight 6, stock. (I am looking into mods now for lifts and such, but need to get her back on the road first)
Please help and thanks for the input!!!!!
T

welcome!! it's probably just a leaky seal, just have it checked out by a reputable mechanic before you worry about rebuilding/replacing.

Welcome to the forum, X2 on checking out the YJ part of the forum, also, because we cant see it, see if any local mechanics (reputable ones) will look at it and tell you what you need, they usually will do that.
