No jeeps to two jeeps

Howdy y'all. I live right outside new orleans and i Just got my first wrangler about 5 months ago. Had a grand Cherokee for the last 6 years and always wanted a wrangler and had been scheming to get one for years now and I finally sold the ole cherokee and finally got a real one. A 95 YJ rio grande edition. I've already done a few minor upgrades and repairs that I didn't post but have alot of plans for it that I'll post as I go documenting with pics. Last week a 85 CJ-7 fell into my hands and I'm in the process of taking parts from that and putting them on the YJ. Gonna be a cool project and I'm lookin foreword to adding my two cents to the jeep world and chatting with y'all. Cheers

Enjoy, I am in a similar boat as you. Wanted a Jeep for the longest time, as did my wife, so we traded both vehicles for two new JKUs. It's a way of life, and an addiction... congrats!

Pretty stock so far. 2 1/2 " super lift and those tube bumpers came with it. Just bought a new rampage soft top and did my first oil change and transmission fluid flush an change along with replacing the oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter, and some fuses. I had never done any previous auto work but its crazy how easy regular maintenance is on the jeep. Slowly learning the ends and outs of maintenance...don't think I'll ever go to a mechanic again hah. I'm starting a new thread showing the process of breaking down the old CJ Peace
