Been looking through the forums for the past month in an attempt to soak up as much info as I could before buying my 1991 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 two weeks ago (only 87k miles on it and bought it for $3,700). I've been impressed with just how much there is being covered and how knowledgeable and helpful alot of the replies are.
I had a 1979 Jeep Cherokee as a teenager and spent quite a bit of time rebuilding the 360 and keeping it road worthy but never got the chance to start in on the suspension or body restoration before totaling it in college.
I've had several newer cars since then, most recently a 03 Pontiac Grand Prix, but have always wanted to get back to something I could work on and feel like I was improving when dropping money into it instead of feeling like I was just maintaining the status quo.
I've never been the driver when wheeling, but have moved back to Utah 2 years ago to realize I'm in the perfect place to have some fun! I look forward to sharing how the projects on this jeep are coming along and getting all the input I can to make this something I can go wheeling moderate trails with and still be able to keep it as a dependable daily driver.
If any of you guys are in Salt Lake City, or plan on going down to Moab, drop me a line and we'll knock back a few beers (or kool-aid if you prefer) and tackle some projects together.
