Noob in West Virginia

Hi all. Just bought my first Wrangler. It's a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X. I'm completely new to the Jeep experience so I'll definitely be counting on everyone here. If there are any good places to start let me know, I appreciate the tips. Also, if anyone in WV goes offroading let me know. I'd like to know some good spots. Anyways...here are some pics.

Howdy... very good starting point. Get ready to have fun.

One thing though. The shiny bumpers don't work so well for recovery points so keep that in mind when wheeling. There is TONS of info out there and on this site that will help you equip your rig to take on anything.

My advice is to learn what your stock Jeep can do then upgrade from there.

Welcome to WF. You should have an event called Camp Jeep up in your area, check that out to learn what your rig can do.

Welcome!

Welcome, Mountain Man, to the insanity! I am very familiar with the Bridgeport area and you've already heard from Vector6 at Cheat Lake. I'm located in Garrett County, MD. There's a few great off-road courses up here on the mountain but they will not reopen until spring (state park closed for the winter). One has about 8-9 creek and river crossings. If interested let me know. BTW, nice Jeep! Thanks for the pics! Again, welcome!
