Hey fellow Jeepers-
new to the forum here..just dropping in.

I just ordered a 08 RUBICON for myself two weeks ago.
Dealer said i might have to wait till the end of December..possibly late January. I can't believe that..but i'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

rocknroll!

yea- i just called my dealer today...worried that production would be halted on the Rubi due to the Chrysler strike today...but apparently mine is not affected!!.. they think i should have it in 2-4 weeks from today!!

yea i just can't wait...i'm tired of driving the old ZJ, (wife drives the KJ)...it's seen better days..but's it's my dd as of right now..i mean it's got almost 140k now and i've dumped a good $2200 bucks in repairs into it..although the engine still purrs like a kitten

in regards to mods- i mean i'm not sure if i really want to lift it with bigger tires. I mean can't i tackle most trails very well with a stock Rubi??

i actually wave to almost all Jeepers (especially nice blonde ones)..haha..

Welcome JKJ!
I ordered my unlimited in late May.
Still no jeep yet. My dealer is very small and
they told me 60 to 120 days. There are some
options I ordered that may have slowed the process up
too. Hope you get better deliverd than I have.

hey Gordon-
wow..that's got to be a gruelling wait..
yea i really hope the chrysler union strike didn't affect the production of our JK's. the dealer told me it wouldn't..but i don't necessarily trust anything a dealer says. everyday..i'm waiting for that phone call..but nothing...i hope you get yours soon man! you gonna modify yours right away?
i don't think i am...at least not anytime soon after i get it.

JKJ, It will stay close to stock. I ordered the
black package and depending on how that looks
I may add some graphics. Also ordered hard top,
limited slip rear, power windows & locks, block heater,
17" wheels (that may change a little), and 6 speed
manual. There are none around here to look at or
drive so it will be a first for me and the dealer.
