I just bought a 1988 yj wrangler. I am trying to get the heat to work. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? I think I may have a bad motor I think it's located under the passenger side dash. Any help would be great
The blower has input from the control panel to the resistor for the speeds. Take the control panel out and look at the white wires on the lever switch to turn on the heat. If it has and is passing paower check the resistor in front of the passenger seat. Also go in the engine bay and below the battery tray on the firewall is a one wire input bayonet connector with insulator that connects to the blower motor. Wire color is orange or red.
