Oh my god, i'm lost

So. I'm Ali. You're run of the mill ford enthusiast. Why I bought a Jeep. They're HOTT. It's an 89 Jeep Wrangler Loredo. The big problem. SOMEONE ****ed UP THE ENGINE. Okay. So i need some serious help here you guys. It got a new motor in it, and the guy that i bought it off of didn't know where all the vacuum lines went when he dropped that sucker in. It's a straight 6 4.2. It ran for like a minute. Then a fusable link went. It's spittin out oil here and there, and he stripped a manifold bolt. CAN ANYONE HELP ME. I'm so confused, and my man is so mad at the thing he could rip out the motor and put a ford motor in it. Shhh, we won't tell him I want to keep the motor it has.

There is a pretty good schematic or two of the vacuum lines posted in the forum in the YJ section somewhere. When I get a chance I'll find the thread that has them. I've tried to get them to the sticky thread before but they didn't do it. This is by far the number one jeep tech question.

You can probably find them in the YJ section under something like vacuum lines or something like that. I'll post them here for you if I get to find them. I had them saved but my PC took a nose dive and I haven't put any of my files on this new one yet.

I'm really sorry about your new-ish jeep problems. I hope you can get them straightened out. Welcome to the board anyway. There are some intelligent people here that should be able to get you into the right direction.

Big question is, those show a carb. Mine is Throttle Body. Is there much of a difference there? and What about the oil line that comes off the top of the engine, where does that go?

*heads off to autozone to buy engine degreaser so she doesn't get herself too dirty*
