On the hunt for a 2003

Greetings from SoCal. Just joined so I could learn as much as possible while I'm looking for a 2003. Will eventually ship it to Hawaii. Anything I should look for while shopping for a good used 2003? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Good luck on the jeep! Depending on where you buy one at, make sure you check for rust, pull the carpet back to check the floors good and look under it and you could take it to a mechnic to have it looked over!

Thanks for your advice. This is. I'm afraid, the beginning of an expensive modding campaign.

Welcome to WF. If you are planning on doing the mods, look for a stocker. That way you can build it the way you want and won't have to worry about what someone else may have done or done wrong.

Why a 2003? Anything 2001 and newer will pretty much be the same, except for the Rubicon and Unlimited models.

Anyway, welcome!
