It seems the first thing I did on the site I did incorrectly. I was responding to threads, and voicing my opinion and had not introduced myself. I apologize.
This is my first time on a Jeep forum site-and I know I have a lot to learn not only with Jeeps but with websites as well. (new to computers is an understatement.)
I am not your average "Jeeper". While I love my Jeep, (this is my second first was a '94) it is a vehicle I use to pursue other interests. I want it to look "GOOD"-clean and shiny, but also want it functional as well. It has a cold air kit and less restrictive exhaust to improve on road performance as well as gas mileage. I have duster, windjammer, and bikini top just because I like the looks in the summer and is easier to go topless. The bumpers were replaced because they got "bent". Spare tire carrier-strictly looks.
I use my Jeep to get to the place to put my Kayak in so I can be the first to the good fishing hole early in the am. So that I can get to the trails I want to hike and picnic. I need the 4wd in the winter some times because of the snow-sometimes will wander into "muddy areas" but not as a rule.
When something breaks I will usually replace it with "stronger aftermarket"-my Jeep is my way of life because it allows me to do what I want to do.
I use it as my daily driver because it is me. I have other vehicles I could drive but no desire to use them. I keep my Jeep plain and almost factory 'cause "if it an't broke don't fix it" makes a lot of sense to me. The mods or changes that I have done for my Jeep have all been for my personal taste and not for any extreme anything.
Uh about the pics-computer challenged-severely. Perhaps will be able to post more with my kids help-however at this time was only able to post the one (poor pic I know) from my phone to my computer (under profile) and not even sure how that got there-but will work on that.
As far as fish pictures maybe the beauty of where-more than the fish. Little awkward with kayak, fishing gear, to handle fish and camera. Only fish for catch and release.
Jeep is an '04 Sport 31 BFG with a hand full of after-market parts. Will work on the pics-promise.
