OK, so I know this had to happen eventually, and this morning at 4am my two month old Jeep was caught in a torrential downpour... UGH. I ran outside in my underwear and hopped in the back seat and threw the top up (it's a 4-door so a bit hard to put the top up by myself, especially in the pouring rain). I buttoned it all up, and there is about 2'' of water on the floor. I plan to take out the plugs and let it drain in the morning and need help on a few things:
1) Are the gauges, stereo, gears, etc. going to OK?
2) The rain was pretty intense, do you think an extremely hot day here in DC will dry it all out tomorrow?
3) UGH!!! I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake!!
...and to top it all off, it stopped raining once i put the top back on.
