reporting for duty

OK, I'm a noob. And I just got confirmation that my 2008 Red Rock Rubicon Unlimited will be delivered late tomorrow to the high desert in SoCal, and I will be driving up to take delivery.

Thanks all. I guess I will have to learn how to post pics. Looks pretty straightforward per the instructions.

I am very excited. One of those people who "always wanted to own a jeep". If it is daylight when I pick it up, I may try a couple offroad dirt runs on the way back. Lot of desert up there. And by Thursday they are expecting snow up in Idlywild, where I will be spending Thanksgiving with my gf (thank you, thank you, thank you)! Looks like I am getting this highly practical vehicle just in time.

Anytime is a good time to get a Jeep. Or maybe I should say a goodtime is to be had anytime you get a Jeep

Welcome to a great place to hang out and learn more than you ever thought possible.

I got it today! She's a beauty. I took pics at the dealer and will post later. Tomorrow I get to drive up the hill in the rain....and maybe later snow!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
